A few small changes in your daily routine, such as taking care of your oral health and adopting healthy eating and drinking habits can make a big difference in the long term. You should also avoid bad habits that can damage your oral health, such as using tobacco products, consuming excessive amounts of alcohol, and chewing on pencils or fingernails.
Everyone has different oral health needs; your dentist will advise you about your risk level. Don’t forget to have regular oral health checkups, at least every 6 months – don’t wait for a problem.
