If you need antibiotics, take them exactly as prescribed by your medical provider. Otherwise, if your doctor tells you that your infection does not require antibiotics, ensure that you don’t pressure him/her to prescribe any: your doctor knows when antibiotics won’t work for your condition, and you could still get side effects or antibiotics resistance.
Talk with your doctor if you have any questions about your antibiotics, or if you develop any side effects, which may need immediate attention.
