The pre-approval process helps us assess each case, organise everything with the hospital before your arrival and make direct payment of your hospital bill easier, where possible.Treatments that require pre-approval (mostly in-patient and high cost treatments) are indicated in your table of benefits.

Emergency treatment
Evacuations and repatriations
1. Call our Helpline (contact details can be found at the end of this guide) in advance of your treatment and ask for a copy of the Pre-authorization Form.
2. Complete the form and send it to us at least five working days before treatment by:

3. We will contact the hospital to organise payment of your bill directly, where possible.
4. Our Medical Team will issue a Guarantee of Payment to the medical provider, authorising the treatment
If we need more information we will contact you, your doctor or your medical provider. Our team will always keep you informed at key stages throughout the process.
Receive treatment and pay your medical provider directly
Claim back your eligible costs by submitting your claim to cash_claim@nathealth.net
Receive the emergency treatment you need
You, your doctor or one of your dependants needs to call our Helpline (within 48 hours of the emergency) to inform us.
At this point we will take all of the required details over the phone.
