Q. What is a Further Information Request?
A. In some cases, upon receipt and initial review of your claim, our Claims Team may require a Further Information Request – which is additional information necessary to process your claim. This can range from a GP medical report on an illness to an orthodontic report on a treatment you received. For example, if you are claiming for an orthodontic treatment, we will require submission of a treatment plan, x-rays and a medical report. If this information is missing from your claim, we will request it from you in the form of a Further Information Request.
The recent change to our member portal means that you will be able to upload a GP medical report, prescriptions or an orthodontic treatment plan at the point of claim submission.
