We’ve developed a range of health, wellbeing and protection services, in collaboration with our partners and third party providers, as part of our commitment to a ‘better quality of life’ for our members.

Second medical opinion

We know that a lot of questions go through a person’s mind whenever a member or their loved one is diagnosed with a serious illness, or is living with a chronic condition. This is why we included the second medical opinion services as part of our cover. Knowing exactly what they are dealing with and getting advice from an independent medical professional/expert may give members a clearer way forward.

Second Medical Opinion can help whenever members are:

Unsure about the initial diagnosis
Unclear about a treatment and need advice from a specialist
Looking for a specialist on your condition
Seeking options on where to receive treatment

To access it, members simply call our 24/7 Helpline and ask for the Second Medical Opinion service.

Telehealth Hub

We believe simple is better. That’s why we created a Telehealth hub where members can easily access medical information or consultations from the comfort of their home or office, whenever and wherever they need it. Telehealth Hub is accessible from MyHealth app or portal within the ‘Health Assistant’ section.

Members will be able to talk to a medical professional by video, call or chat, depending on their current location. Members may be asked to register when they sign-up for the service for the first time and they may need to have their ID and policy number at hand. TeleHealth Hub is available with all Out-patient Plans.

Olive

Olive is our proactive care engine, developed to support your employees on their journey to a long, happy and healthy life. Olive includes the following services:

Health and Wellness hub

On our Health and Wellness hub members will have access to a range of services and tools designed to guide them towards a healthier life, including:

Tips and articles on topics such as sleep, fitness, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
Our BMI calculator.
Our monthly live health and wellness webinars, with Q&A session, delivered by specialists.

HealthSteps App

The Healthsteps app gives personalised guidance on reaching health and fitness goals.

Features available to our members:

Plan: choose a health goal and use the action plans to adopt and maintain good health such as lose weight, improve posture, sleep better, healthy eating, get moving & energised, stay healthy, reduce stress, lower blood pressure.

Challenges: join monthly challenges and get encouragement from other HealthSteps users by sharing their performance and competing against each other on group challenges. These challenges are based on steps, calories and distance.

Progress: connect with popular health and activity trackers and monitor their progress against goals they set for themselves.

Library: access articles and get tips and advice on how to live and maintain a healthy life.

Olive+

If you have more than 150 staff in one location and you’d like to take things one step further, you may be able to include Olive+*. This add-on offers all of the above, PLUS on-site health screening , wellness talks and health seminars. Data analytics reporting gives you benchmarked insights into the health of your staff, any areas of concern and how we can help to improve things where needed.

* The on-site screening/health assessment is subject to the availability of a provider from our medical network and is dependent on the location of the member.

Employee Assistance Programme

There’s never been a greater need for mental health support than today. We all have to deal with change, challenges and concerns at different points in our lives. While that’s a normal and expected part of life, we’re here to make it easier, through professional advice and support. The Employee Assistance Programme is a confidential, multilingual support service which includes professional counselling, personalised wellness content, podcasts and audio tips.

Travel Security Services

As the world witnesses an increase in security threats, we help you to mitigate the risks to your staff. Our Travel Security Services offer access to a rich pool of information, advice and support that’s available whenever it’s needed. Services includes an Emergency Security Assistance Hotline, country intelligence and security advice, daily security news updates and travel safety alerts newsletter.

Symptom Checker

Demonstrating our commitment to digital innovation to support customers, the Symptom Checker is a key part of our popular MyHealth app. An easy to use multi-language support tool for quick reference and guidance. By answering a few questions about their medical conditions, your employees will get a preliminary evaluation of their symptoms.

Oncology Management

We understand that a cancer diagnosis can be extremely shocking and worrying. As their health partner we want to support members in the unfortunate event of a cancer diagnosis. We’ll offer a personal oncology case manager from our own Medical Team to guide and assist members through their cancer treatment.

This service is extremally helpful, as we will guide and assist members through their treatment. The dedicated case manager will help the member understand their cover, contacting regularly to check how treatment is going. The case manager will also proactively look after all insurance administration in advance of treatment.

Members can choose to:

Avail of our oncology case management services personally – this means the case manager will contact the member directly for all updates relating to the case.

Appoint a designated person on their behalf – if the member doesn’t wish to discuss their case personally, they can still avail of our case management services by appointing a designated person on their behalf.
